After starting his career at the University of Salford, Professor Jung has held full-time professorial positions at Ghent University and the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

He has served as Visiting Professor at Edinburgh, Freiburg, and Gothenburg universities.

And he is Jack Ma Distinguished Professor at Hangzhou Normal University
